What M M likes about Cap'n Jack's Pub:
During our stay at High Plains Camping we ate at their on-site restaurant: Cap’n Jack’s Pub. First off, it’s a pub. It looks like a pub and has great beers on tap. I enjoyed the Buffalo Sweat Stout that’s only an APV of 5 and $4 on tap. My wife had a glass of white wine at $3.50. What Kay G doesn't like about Cap'n Jack's Pub:
My husband had the lamb and loved it. I had the rib eye steak and it was disappointing for a $34 steak. It was quite tough. I couldn't chew 2/3 of it. I passed the steak to my husband. The green beans and mushrooms were very tasty, but cold. The waitress was nice to us, but the wait for our food was over an hour and a half. If you eat here, stick with the fish or lamb.
