Go-to early a.m stop for musubi, rice rolls and/or poke for breakfast before my hikes. Staff is friendly and pricing is good. Tried to eat cheap for breakfast lunch and this was a staple (along with fruit stands) View all feedback.
What Paul L David doesn't like about Pono Market:
It may seem a good price but you have to pay for add ons like furikake, sauce, no napkins, no retroom, no table, overall no good service no good value, and they prompt for tip. No thanks. View all feedback.
Very traditional Hawaiian cuisine, the Pork Lau, it is so delicious and tasty. Anyway, it'll be back.
Delicious! Simple and delicious with no extras needed. I had the kimchi ahi and it was fantastic!
Best plate lunch on Kauai! Return customer to Pono Market since 2006. Super friendly, family-owned business with delicious Hawaiian options. The fried chicken, sesame ahi poke and spam musabi are our favorites to get to-go and enjoy on the beach. We love it so much we always try and go a few times during our vacations in Kauai.
This place is excellent if you are looking for authentic Hawaiian food. It was my fav place on the island and I just thought everything was fantastic. I dropped three times. The Mac salad is the best I ever had. The Poke is fantastic. The cakes are great. This place is an absolute jewel.
We had the best food in all Kauai. We have the shrimp tempura sushi, teriyaki beef masubi, poke, beef curry, Kalua pork and cabbage, and lomi lomi. Everything was so good. We just wish we had more time to eat everything they have on the menu!
