"Wife and I did dinner here, we both got the steak and oh boy was it tender, the salad was pretty good as well. They make sure to keep drinks full, we basically had our waters filled anytime we took a drink lol. Thanks for an awesome experience to all staff. "Great food, great service, amazing happy hour. $12 for delicious pizzas. $12 great cocktails. Other apps 1/2 off. The wings are good to die the pumpkin raviolis. This place is legit and a must in the area. And the cream pies... trust me and save space for dessert."

"Serious Eats! I knew going into Roy’s was going to be a financial heart ache but I can now say it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. More importantly you got more than your moneys worth. DO NOT snack before you go. Our group of 4 from Illinois knew we were going for good food and an experience of a lifetime with great friends. We started with cocktails and complementary edamame, great start. Wait staff was outstanding and described many offerings that were not on the menu as well as some of the signature dishes. Very tough decisions to be made from here. We started with 2- Canoes for Two and Compressed Watermelon Salad. Personally, after the fact I can say I could have just had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. Very light and refreshing vs. egg rolls and complements For the entree, I had Chinese Style Opakapaka. It had bits of sausage and mushrooms sitting on baby Boc Choy. I have to say it was the best fish I have ever had, being from ILLINOIS remember. Then I tried my friends Misoyaki Butterfish. OMG, this fish was amazing. If you are a group of 2, these would be the two dishes to get so you can share. HUGE portions that are double the size for the price we would get in the Midwest. The last entree was the Grilled Japanese Hamachi. Delicious fish, huge portion but just didn’t amaze me like the other 2. We had coupons for desert. The Lava Cake was such a good way to finish a Celebratory meal with great friends. Drinks, Mai Tai was the favorite over the Martini. The lady’s loved the Chardonnay."

"I had very high hopes walking in because it looks fantastic and has a great view. Good food menu, prompt service and amazing view. I ordered a cappuccino that was definitely not up to par. It was the same boiling-hot, weird tasting coffee like they serve at the ABC store across the road. Food was good but if they just spent a couple hours training their barista how to actually make a coffee, it would be 5 stars. Surely in 2023 at a world leading resort that would be so easy to do. Others in our party who got a drip coffee thought the drip coffee was fine. I would love to see them have ceramic cups too because that would considerably reduce wastage and make it a tastier coffee. Overall: Espresso coffee (eg cappuccino) 1/5. Food: 4/5. Nice selection of croissants etc too."

"So ono! Lil hole in da wall at Aiea Shopping Center on the second floor...err...more like a Window on the wall. No storefront, just a Window for ordering and pick up only...they were prepared for the pandemic ages ago! lol Most definitely a local spot... Not much reason to come through if you are a tourist. This place has been here forever! Ono diabetes: No. 7. Pudding. Milk Shave Ice with Mochi Ball 5/5 Just DELISH! everything was BRILLIANT!! Sooo ONO!!! The Mochi was soft and chewy. The Shaved Ice was powdery, soft and smooth. The Milk Pudding was perfect...text book model of what a Pudding should be; supple thick creamy consistency...deliciousness! Beware...CASH ONLY! hence the missing Almost always an issue for me...I might have about $10 on me at all times... This place is so underrated."
