Great restaurant and guest rooms. Nice, comfortable and spacious rooms, perfectly equipped. Only electric kettles in the kitchenettes would be useful. Next to the property, a beautiful restaurant with great Hungarian cuisine. Excellent and professional service. We recommend. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet View all feedback.
What Tati Lein doesn't like about Kassai Fogadó:
Cheap food thrown on the plate. I had a Kassai salad with goat cheese. I could have gone to the supermarket too!!! Sorry, that doesn't work at all!! The beer was in a dirty glass!! The waiter didn't even ask us if we liked it. This restaurant is a fast food restaurant and has nothing to do with quality!!! Service: 2 View all feedback.

Came here with a friend of mine as we heard the restaurant got great reputation from nearby towns (mostly because of the name). As we were two, we chose to go with the Kassai platter for two. It was quite quiet around, and many tables were unoccupied, so the waiters had the chance to look after diners, comfortably. A big plus is that Csíki beer is available, which, from a subjective point of view is a much better choice than the rest of options. The platter arrived within a very reasonable timeframe, however the portion and quality was not that great. The fried meat, except for the pork, was plain, generally the majority of toppings were dry. Sauce (burger sauce? didn’t match the dish) was available in a small pot, insignificantly supporting the quantity served. The flagship of the dish was the duck, which was crispy on the outside and tender from inside. Potatoes (seasoned wedges) and salad (except the added tomatoes) all seemingly brought from discount stores. Overall, the “platter for 2” is not worth it, I’d rather recommend any solo dish from the menu. Seemingly perceived from other tables, those tended to be aligned with the price. Drink and beer selection is adequate, desserts too, however didn’t try any of them. Place accepts SZÉP card. Unfortunately, the place pretends to be more than it offers.
