Nice place, mostly busy with foreigners. My husband enjoys working from there for half a day every week. Plugs everywhere. They serve good coffee, extensive breakfast and sandwiches. Just don't be too loud or the waiter will tell you off. View all feedback.
A lovely place in a lovely city. The Globe Bookstore and Café is the largest and best English-language bookstore in Prague, and it is a refuge for an Anglophone bibliophile visiting this amazing city. Its stock is remarkably rich and attractive; its presentation is first rate. The café is wonderful, and the food is quite good. Last night, after browsing, I had chicken schnitzel and chocolate cake, and both compared favorably with the fare of local restaurants. I urge any English-speaking visitor to Prague to visit the Globe.
Been going there for years. Great staff and the happy hour drinks are really great. Quiz nights, writers group, reading group, children 's story time, all for expats and their families. Nice seasonal garden seating, and an excellent English language bookstore. Many of my Czech friends go there just for the American food...go figure! Fun place to hang 7 days a week.
Had a fabulous experience with a fellow traveler. We enjoyed our afternoon beer flights of local brews and perusing the bookstore full of wonderful selections. The bartender gave us a copy of The Prague Visitor newspaper and suggested we check out the local activities, festivals and attractions while in town. Very helpful!
Great, friendly bar. Intimate, but able to seat groups. Service is excellent. I've only had the fries and the nachos, but both were good. Definitely a regular hangout now, particularly for their special events. Quizzes, comedy, stuff like that. Lots of fun.
A Lovely cafe/bar friendly staff and fun entertainment nights. Never had a bad night there.
