What Gaby Schulz doesn't like about Zoo Terrassen:
Bad service, bad food, poor value . . . not much to recommend it. The menu is very limited, heavy on the sweet items. There are very few options for vegetarians - just Kaesebrot (at 8 Euros), yogurt with fruit (also 8-9 Euros), or Milchreis. The Milchreis with cinnamon and sugar was strangely lemony. That might be OK if one was expecting it, but was very odd with cinnamon. Service was indifferent to downright bad. View all feedback.

"Very tasty Eritrean/Ethiopian Food. Two of us shared the large Africa Platter with 2 extra pieces of Injeera bread and were full after. I couldn't read the German Menu but the platter had the basic staples I remember from Ethiopia and Ethiopian Restaurants in San Francisco. Shiro Yellow Lentils, Doro Wat Chicken, Doro Tibs (lamb), Spinach, Hard Boiled Eggs, plus some salad and potato salad. The dishes were low on spice to appeal to what seems to be the local German preference but I would have preferred to really feel more spicy heat from the Bereberi Spices. The restaurant has nice ambiance and the service was friendly if also a bit slow since it was a busy Saturday night. The price was fair at €43 for 2 with the platter, extra Injeera, one round of drinks and soup. I will for sure go back again."

"On our spontaneous visit to our journey we were welcomed very friendly despite the lack of reservation. We were offered a table for an hour. Our order was received very quickly. The very appealing dishes were also served quickly and were delicious. We recommend this restaurant and are very happy to come back."
