The whole place has changed. The Restaurant I mean. They have become attached to a haldiram like franchise called Gurus. Now I miss the old place. Loved Guru's sweets though. View all feedback.
What Kusum Pillai doesn't like about Aastha Hotel & Restaurant:
Somehow didn't like the place much, although I can't exactly say what is it which turned me off.Probably the atmosphere, or the smell of vegetable oil..so just had a cup of tea and left!!! View all feedback.
While traveling from Bagdogra Airport to Makai Bari tea garden in Kurseong Kharsang, we enjoyed a picturesque view of the foothills of the Himalayas. The Kurseong Railway Station, where the famous Darjeeling toy train stops, holds historical significance. The area is populated with beautiful people and pleasant joints. The British hill buildings and complexes add to the charm of the surroundings. Aastha Hotel is a great place to enjoy a cup of tea or sample some local cuisine.
This restaurant is located very close to Kurseong Railway station, offering an excellent view of toy trains passing by. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Not much has changed since our last review . This place is good for a cuppa and that's all. They should think about new strategies to draw in more customers but the unglamorous windows outside are not inviting.
