The monastery of Valamo belongs to the Orth.x Church of Finland, an autonomous church under the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The monastery is worth visiting, there is a lot of art in a good service and a good lunch restaurant. Courses and training are held in the area. Headed home to the monastery’s wine and herbal spices. Parking is fine."
