This doesn’t always work – but in the Dec in Kassel I have the Avanti for a few years as a fixed starting point. On 09.02.2015, I was back in the KS region and thus fits into a lunch break. Positive surprise: a new look, the dark decor has moved to a modern bright quench after the relaunch of 26.08.2014. A new opening with the familiar faces. This is a top class/gourmet Italian, is self-explanatory due to the situation in an EKZ – but I have not been disappointed with food until then. The quantities of Italians (the Corallo-Eiscafés) were remarkable, even in the Dec, which served in four teams for lunch. In addition to the food a la Carte there are days or weekly recommendations on boards. “Request” is also possible: whole, half, quarterly pizzas or filled calzone (fried, next to Panini or from the map. The pizza pieces are also served at the tables, partly also as a mini lunch menu with salad ambience: simple, there are only menus on the tables – but fits the guests without a doubt. 2 tables can also sit on the counter on request. Conclusion: €25.00 for a delicious lunch meal – in addition, the kitchen has increased slightly compared to the last time. I'm always worth a stop.
