The canteen was originally put in place for the truckies and staff that set up for the sales the next day. It's become the place to go on a Tuesday night. Great large meals. Roasts, steaks, chops, seafood and much more. Do not attend if you are vegetarian or on a diet. BYO drinks. A good spot for breakfast on a Wednesday morning as well.
