For non-veg food in Coonoor. It is a good place. The pricing is a bit on the higher side for their quality and ambience.

Excellent Chinese and North Indian food. Aloo and Paneer Parathas are a must. Hospitable and quick service.

"Fortunately we were taken there by a friend's son as it's not the easiest place to find at night. And we certainly were not let down by the food. I had a tandoori paneer roll followed by chicken Hariyali with bone, others in the group had chicken liver fry and double mutton sheekh roll. No one was disappointed. For those who won't dare to try food from stalls the Tandoor Hut will change your mind. There's no where to sit...... but so what!"

"No better place in the Nilgiris for rolls and kebabs! The serve big potions of rolls and kebabs a regular for dinner. Recommend for their rolls and kebabs. Only take aways. Not too sure about their Chinese preparations though!"

"There is very limited choice of restaurants (not just good ones, but number of decent places, unlike Ooty and Coonoor). Hari Mess has been my favourite and my recommendation to friends visiting this place. This has been the same for non-veg lunch from 1997. Today,...the place (6 months after Corona) looks a bit spruced up. Good food remains the same. Chicken and Fish and veg guys have a plain meals when accompanied by carnivores. Reasonable Rs 300 for two meals with fried fish as side for both meals."
