We were looking for a Deep dish pizza place in Houston and after a lot of research, we decided to come to BIG Z's. It's a family business where Bob and Tony gave us an incredible experience. What Christina Darling doesn't like about Big Z's Pizza House Brew:
$40s for the worst pizza we have ever tried. I say we (all four of us). At first I thought it was just me, but no one had a second piece and we just looked at each other and said this is awful . Deep dish specialty pizza half white pizza half monster pizza. Maybe it was an off day for them. Half the pizza was burnt. Completely charred. No gooey melty cheese existed. Made it very dry. Uneven oven temp? Idk. The crust was hard and in some spots not cooked all the way. Very heavy on the fennel, strong black licorice flavor.
