This place serves hand made authentic Mexican dishes, not TexMex. Delicious dishes! The owner was very friendly and gave us good tips when choosing what to eat. What Alba Almanza doesn't like about Ferso’s:
I was craving a soup so I order one from this place. As I was drinking the broth when I put down the container I saw a hair on it. Imagine how I felt so gross seeing one. I told them about it and they said no one who works there has hair. When I picked my order I saw the waitress and she had hair in a pony tail. They also said that it was my hair. Tex mex has its place but when looking for authentic this place is a MUST! The Mole was rich in flavor, we devour the azteca soup before we realize to take a photo lol along with the birria tacos it was that good. The mango habanero sauce was sweet and not over spicy. The service was amazing. Will be definitely coming back! UPDATE! They have move from Katy Mills. They a little further away but still worth it! Have a listing coming up in creek side ranch lol and I was excited for photo day because I knew exactly where we going for lunch! Food was Consistent delicious like always! Thank you!!! Forgot. For dessert the Plátanos Flamiados is a must. Didn’t even take a photo of them lol

The chef made cafe de olla on request. This place is really Mexican! so far everything has been delicious with many vegetarian choices.
Authentic flavor (cochinita tacos), good and fast service, very clean place
They open at 11:00 everyday We’ve been customers since they were in the mall. The food is delicious. Authentic Mexican. I’ve only had Tex Mex before so this is a treat. Very comfortable atmosphere and high quality customer service. Great bar and dining room. In the parking lot behind Texas Borders. Check it out.
