"I've been coming here off and on for many years. Used to really enjoy it in the early years but its gone down hill. Don't think the management cares like it once did, many things in disrepair. Used to have a DJ upstairs that had the place rocking Friday and Sat nights in the summer but that ended. They once had 2 pool tables upstairs its now down to one with 1/2 the balls missing and its jammed in a corner.Food is fair, just overall a faded jewel. This place could really use a management change and someone to love her again. It does have lots of potential.Anyway, just my personal opinion."

"Each of my three visits, I was very happy with my experience, so... I will pass on my unrequired thoughts. As a former cook myself, I tend to look at things a little different than the average person maybe. I see things like cleanliness of the restaurant, plate presentation, value, food quality and the overall experience. And of course service. Murphys is clean, open and bright. Good mood. Good music. Service is fast and friendly. Small town friendly! And this is my friend! The food I had was well prepared, with good value, good presentation, very good quality. All these boxes have checked. My last visit to the terrace, with a view of the castles...other day...big food, ice cold beer, great service... and I think Nazareth played in the background. I just remember I didn't have a meatless burger for a while. Yeah, I'm one of those pains in the vegetarian's neck that goes into the din. When I was a chef, I hated people like me... but everything has changed! Murphy had covered us! Great options! Must finish when you're in Fenelon."

"Small restaurant and you have to walk through village and turn left on king street . Next to butcher store. Great for a quick lunch .we went in a group and quick service . Variety of ways to serve cheese."

"Location is good. Staff was friendly, service was good! Food, not so good. Greek salad was wilted like it was in the fridge all day. The chicken special was rubbery with no flavour as if it had been microwaved. French fries were bland. Seemed like they were sitting around and re-fried in old oil. Not in the habit of writing bad reviews, but this meal was not worth the ."
