"Bigger on the inside than it looks. Packed though so make sure you book. Even the reduced menu is quite substantial so there is lots of choice. We both went for pizza which was very tasty and not too filling so there was room for dessert (also lovely). Staff were friendly and didn't rush us even though it was very busy."

"Came for a drink, stayed for dinner and returned for breakfast. a great community pub and restaurant which supports local charities as we witnessed when we attended a fundraiser for Gearoid's Smile. Local trad group played great music on 2 nights we were there. The homemade burgers and chicken curry were excellent comprising of large quality portions. Can highly recommend the Cross Tarry breakfast, quality food served by helpful staff always served with a smile. The owners Arthur and his wife really enjoy the craic and we look forward to returning."
