San Marco - Kelkheim

This is a family owned by Italian ice salon, which also offers a variety of Italian dishes. Our waiter was Olivier, who was fluent in English, very friendly and attentive and he made the evening a very pleasant. My dearest had the Saltimbocca, which was intense in taste and wonderful sweet potato fries, I had a veal that was something about done and wonderful sauteed vegetables. the tiramisu was good. Wine list is not too long, but we found a cheap cabarnet you accept only cash

Sono stato a cena lunedì scorso con amici e sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto: ottimo il cibo, veramente italiano, con porzioni giuste e una certa creatività. Fantastico il gelato. San Marco was always our favorite restaurant when we lived in Kelkheim a few years ago. We went back last weekend and found that the food is just as good (especially the spaghetti ice cream! and the service just as friendly. The restaurant is owned and run by a man and woman team who are proud to be good quality fresh food specialties are on what is good on the market and the ice is made at home. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Das San Marco war einmal sehr gut, aber das ist Geschichte! Nach der Neueröffnung ist der Service miserabel. Ich musste eine Ewigkeit warten, bis meine Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, obwohl kaum was los war. Noch viel länger musste ich auf die Rechnung warten. Die Qualität der Eisbecher und das Eis haben stark nachgelassen. Im Nussbecher waren kaum Nüsse, dafür wurde der Preis um satte 20 % erhöht. Für ein halbes Schnapsglas Eierlikör wurde ein Zuschlag von 2,20 € berechnet. Ich bin bereit, für gute Qualität und Service angemessen zu bezahlen, aber das hier ist reine Abzocke!
