If authentic, true Tex-Mex could be defined, I would define it as Roy's Mexican American cuisine! I love coming to eat at this restaurant! It feels so cozy and warm. The service people are so friendly, it always makes me feel like I am at a family gathering. Drink selection is amazing and very affordable and I love all dishes so far! What Abi Warren doesn't like about Roy's Mexican American Cuisine:
The food was good and service was good. I asked for extra shrimp with my salad. When we got the bill it showed an extra charge of $12 for shrimp. Could have just gotten another salad. Moral: always ask how much for the extras! ???? View all feedback.
Food was standard Tex/Mex. Salsa wasn't spicy but had nice tomatoe taste. Staff was nice. Not very busy for a Saturday night.
Great customer service!! Food tasted ok. We were hoping for more authentic Mexican flavor and spice.
