While some reviewers found the food to be bland or overpriced, others raved about the vegan options, lentil soup, and paleo bars. The coffee was hit or miss, with some loving it and others finding it disappointing. The desserts, especially the cheesecake and almond tart, received high praise. The fresh bread, quick service, and friendly staff were highlighted, making it a recommended spot for a meal near the beach in downtown Kelowna. Whether you're a local bread lover or a visitor looking for a tasty sandwich, Bread Company has something for everyone.
Here for breakfast, and there were basically no vegan breakfast options. However, the staff was very accommodating and made me a vegan sandwich with hummus and vegetables. It was very good, but a very small portion compared to other breakfast options. All her bread is vegan. My Chai coffee with almond milk was delicious. Lucky they were very helpful, but I wouldn't go back here.
I'll second the Paleo Bar! It was a piece of healthy heaven and I could not believe that there was no extra sugar (it was just so good! . You have many salad options and things can be made, but nothing but vegan labeled (but Suuure her label gluten-free stuff is sorry that this is my pet Peeve. I am jealous of attention to labels that receive gluten-free people. Please give us one! That's why I usually decide not to eat there for lunch and just stay at almond milk salads or almond milk matcha. The in Pandosy is a great location and cozy space, but are warned, they have a smaller menu than the city center location.
There were a few things I wanted to try, but I ended up with this really great grilled sand, with roasted sweet potatoes, fennel, arugula and with Balsamico vinegar and oil. Oh, my God, it was so good! They also had a vegan lentil soup that was quite brilliant. For something sweet, her paleobars are really wonderful. They tasted like short cookies. They usually help together through coconut oil so that you eat them immediately or keep them cool somewhere on a hot day.
They have a vegan section on their menu with 3 options. I got the veggie pita and it was so awkwardly wrapped everything fell apart as soon as you tried to get into it. I also found a tiny bit of ?sausage that I asked my friend to try. Very expensive for what you got.
I had a few options in mind, but I ultimately decided on a delicious grilled sandwich with roasted sweet potato, fennel, arugula, balsamic vinegar, and oil. It was absolutely amazing! The vegan lentil soup was also fantastic. As for dessert, the paleo bars were a highlight - they tasted similar to shortbread cookies and were held together by coconut oil. It's best to enjoy them immediately or store them in a cool place on a hot day.
