"Great friendly reception for us and our two little dogs. nice eating. avocado on sour with chopped eggs was delicious. large selection of cakes and beautiful coffee. happy atmosphere and very cozy. if I lived near, I would be a kind of stiel. highly recommended."

"Came through for a visit to Kinneil House and Bo'ness for the day from Edinburgh and came in for a sit down Tea. White pudd, fish n chips and smoked haddock n chips Plus bread and butter Pot of Tea was lovely Food was very good quality and fresh and tasty Love the aurhentic look of the whole place Friendly atmosphere We will return Oh and ice creams too"

"A warm welcome and cheery service for the weary walker! Food and drink arrived quickly, and were very reasonably priced. We didn't take the option for sitting outside, but it would have been quiet enought to make it a good experience, and North Queensferry is...a lovely wee village."

"We had been bought vouchers , for our stay , it was a lovely experience from dealing with reception, bar staff, waiting staff ,and the owner , the barmans knowledge on whisky was outstanding, we drank there own Rose wine , which was outstanding, the food is the best I have eaten in a long time , the steak was beautiful, the whole ambiance was beautiful, we will definitely be back ."

"Hidden gems what a fantastic sound. a wonderful bistro with excellent staff. booked in the last minute and so glad that we did it from the minute we went until we left the experience was perfect. the owner welcomed us so warm and the food was super, freshly cooked. there were so many things we want to try so that we have to go back and go through the menu. thanks for a nice evening from the group from york. I'm glad to go back from the Banoffe Pie."
