"Recommended here by a local and glad we were. Place was a nice dive style restaurant where you sit on plastic lawn chairs to dine. Which makes since considering dinners, drive ins and dives filmed an episode here. Live music was great and at a good volume. All of our food was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection. Minus a star only because our waitress was extremely sub par and slow. Just a tip, although it says it?s a steak house t-shirts and athletic shorts are more then acceptable here."

"My wife and I love visiting Skipper’s Cafe when we’re in the Houston/Kemah area. Our second time for breakfast was just as wonderful as the first. The staff is friendly, the service incredible and the food is top notch. There are no better pancakes to be found anywhere…except for those my wife makes. And these guys know how to properly make and omelette too."

"Man!!!! Don’t know where to start but first the Manager was great and inter acting with customers.. I love that!!! And the crawfish were off the chain the dessert was delicious it was a little slow in getting food but they had a note on door letting you know they were a little short staff but overall it was worth the wait I know I will be back."
