"I had the chicken kiev dinner special here. It was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. It came with a turkey gravy that was unfortunately quite tasteless. (I actually couldn't tell what it was, due to lack of flavour, and had to ask the server.) The coconut cream pie for dessert was excellent!"

"Classic pub. Lots of draft choice, fireplaces, and great location with patio near Rideau river. Staff are all professional, and friendly. Stone, wood, copper, post and beam... Makes this a top pick for pints. First Wednesday of the month a dozen fiddlers rock the packed house. For me... Great value and always welcoming. Love it!"
