Walton's Grill - Kendal

We received a text message that canceled our table 3 hours before the reservation. This was evidently due to unforeseen circumstances, but also to an ongoing question. I feel that if I would break so short-term, it would have been polite to do by phone call rather than text. Because there is a running problem that seems to have been a problem at various other locations after social media posts, I will not rush to rebook if it occurs last minute.

Outstanding work of the staff to provide excellent customer service. I enjoyed my interaction and would like to book in the future.

Food and service good. Just had to wait a long time between courses.

Socially distant eating, smaller menu, but still eating fab. sirloin steak asked after well made came pink, but sorted without a problem. cheesebreakers with loaded frits were really nice much tasted with a rosen wine washed out. had dessert the Dutch baby we had before and very good and enough for two. we look forward to next time

The personal was friendly, the decor is beautiful and modern. good choice of the burgers who were excellent and the cocktails were fab. very good value for money and will return definitiw.
