Great location in the centre of Kenmare.The room was very warm and spacious ,with generous comfortable bed.We were greeted warmly on arrival and made to feel very welcome. The bar food was excellent and we were lovely and cosy at our table by the stove. read more.

What User doesn't like about The Wander Inn:
Lovely ambience and our very attentive waiter was Prawn starter was not great . Pork belly was nice. Monkfish had a mushroom risotto which was lovely but the fish again was not great. Veg were cooked lovely. Overall a nice evening out but the food lacked flavour . I was expecting better for the prices. read more.

Clean, cozy room, bathroom also very clean. There's a pub underneath, it's best to take hearing protection with you, then you'll sleep like a baby here! Gladly...

"Went to Malarkeys a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday and I can highly recommend! The menu is has a great twist on good Irish food. I had the monkfish and it was the best I have ever had! The vegetables and potatoes served with it were perfectly cooked and the corn on the cob was a lovely addition on the place. Portions were generous, but the taste of everything was simply exquisite. Siobhan was absolutely brilliant and very tentative ensuring we were ok for everything. I had contacted her prior to arrival about organising birthday candles on a dessert and she was most helpful. If you looking for good, fresh Irish food, perfectly prepared, look no further. It's clear that the chef has a passion for his cooking. Thanks to all at Malarkey's and we will definitely be back."

"The hottest September Sunday and we rocked up here … parked our VW van in the carpark and found a table on the pier. The place was going like a fair . Live music when we arrived and food served until about 9pm . The food was super fresh and tasty. The staff work very hard on what was a shift from hell busy ."
