"The hottest September Sunday and we rocked up here … parked our VW van in the carpark and found a table on the pier. The place was going like a fair . Live music when we arrived and food served until about 9pm . The food was super fresh and tasty. The staff work very hard on what was a shift from hell busy ."

"Went to Malarkeys a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday and I can highly recommend! The menu is has a great twist on good Irish food. I had the monkfish and it was the best I have ever had! The vegetables and potatoes served with it were perfectly cooked and the corn on the cob was a lovely addition on the place. Portions were generous, but the taste of everything was simply exquisite. Siobhan was absolutely brilliant and very tentative ensuring we were ok for everything. I had contacted her prior to arrival about organising birthday candles on a dessert and she was most helpful. If you looking for good, fresh Irish food, perfectly prepared, look no further. It's clear that the chef has a passion for his cooking. Thanks to all at Malarkey's and we will definitely be back."

"The place was busy and was rushed to put an order. Coffee wasn't good, the smoothie we ordered was okay. 3 stars because the lady in the register was beautiful, the man who did everything seemed upset. Otherwise cute little cafe."
