This place is wonderful. It brings back memories of my grandma's southern cooking on Sundays after church(something that I haven't had in 8 years since she died exactly 8 years ago yesterday). The people are friendly and the place has a comfortable/humble vibe. View all feedback.
The place is clean and comfortable. It sit in between a tire repair shop and gas station by a red light so you can't miss it. The food is some of the best southern in the area. It's well price and worth the trip. It's food taste better than high price restaurant in the local city area.
Now that 's what I 'm talkin ' 'bout!. This is a great little family owned spot just a stone 's throw from the airport. (I saw the other review below and my experience couldn 't have been more different). The nice woman who took my order was the daughter of the cook and could not have more friendly and welcoming. I asked for her recommendation on a meal and she suggested the turkey wings with rice and vegetables. The turkey was delicious and fall off the bone tender. The green beans were cooked perfectly (not mush) and the rice and gravy were fabulous. It was a huge meal for $7.50! You can 't do better than this for a traditional southern style home-cooked meal. I loved it and can 't wait to go back.
Yess fresh hot great Catfish Po'boy! We will be back again all from Newark New Jersey!
