Without a doubt, this place has the best burgers in town! They are always cooked perfectly and served by a friendly and helpful staff. Their gluten-free bread option is especially fantastic, with unmatched taste, texture, and appearance. What DGB doesn't like about Hood's Bbq:
Brisket leaves a lot to be desired. Smokey flavor but texture of a brisket that cooked for half the needed time and wet with grease from fat. I wouldn't mind that much if the brisket wasn't sliced WITH the grain instead of against. This is like my first brisket that I did... that took 45 minutes to grill an 8 pound flat and point. Pulled pork was awesome. Great choice of craft beers and ciders.
Love the atmosphere and food. Delicious from the corn bread appetizer to the bbq pulled pork platter.
Nice reasonably priced restaurant. It's rural Unionville off the beaten path. Really good Barbeque, definitely recommend
I ordered the bbq ribs and they were very flavorful and moist. The meat fell off of the bone. Very friendly service and the restaurant was extremely clean!
