What User likes about The Stanhope Arms:
a friendly pub. After we turned away from the pizza express where we were told that they were completely booked by 15 o'clock, apparently all empty tables were filled very soon. Anyway, glad to see this pub. excellent staff. probably expensive drinks. some drinks, ice cream, much fun View all feedback.

When we walked in here there were very few people but some were eating and it looked nice so we ordered drinks and food. While we were waiting for our food the place started filling up. Our food took ages. Some of the newcomers were served before us. When we asked we were told the kitchen was very busy. I'm not quite sure if I could consider this as a pub or bar, but it seems that in England, or at least in London, quite all pubs...
