"I have been going here for many years now. They have a great draft selection, the bar is nice and not normally overly loud (except for during events, which is to be expected), and the staff is very knowledgeable about beer. I would recommend to anyone that has not been here to check this place out. Note: they are no longer selling carry out beer. They have gotten out of the retail game."

"Great Subs. I don 't care how many other sub shops try to muscle-in to Kent territory, Franklin Square Deli is the best. They might be a little more expensive than those other places, but it 's worth it. I 've been going to FSD for about 12 years now and I have never had a bad sandwich, and usually the staff is pretty friendly, too. When a friend of mine from out-of-town comes back to Kent, the first thing they want is a sub from FSD or a burrito from Taco Tontos."

"The biggest con is that there were no descriptions which made it hard to choose a drink, and I felt really uncomfortable here with my kids despite the toys everywhere. Even though mention this was our first time here we were not offered any suggestions. The drinks were not as good as I’ve had at other places, but the girl at the counter was really sweet, and I think this would have been a better experience if I didn’t have kids with me and I knew exactly what I wanted. Another pro is that this place had TONS of options."

"What happens if there are more than a few things you want from a menu? Just order them all and hope for the best. And order them at Chef Jeff Crowe in Erie St. Kitchen in Kent Ohio. We ordered in no order, Lobster Roll, Deviled-Eggs, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Goat Cheese Balls Cajun Cheese Curds. With one side of the cardiologist. Everything was done by the care, the boss Jeff and his staff in the Prep. The hotel is located in the historic Venice Cafe in Kent. This should be a “must try” on your destination food travel."
