"Despite the conflicting signals of an open sign and dark windows, we 're glad we checked and found this place open. We had a platter of hibachi shrimp and another of assorted fish. Both were delicious and reasonably priced and promptly served. The atmosphere is modern with some Japanese-inspired privacy between booths. 80s music wasn 't exactly authentic Japanese, but pleasant all the same. Having identified ourselves as new to Japanese food, it would have been nice to ask some questions about our food or what to do with the extra dishes we were given or for a drink refills. After being served, we didn 't see our waitress until we flagged her down for our check. Still don 't know what the extra plates are for or how to eat soup without spoons, but we like a challenge."
