"Our experience at Whit's Frozen Custard was a positive one. The shop is very clean and organized, and everything is clearly and neatly labeled. The team member that was there at the time of our visit was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the business and custard itself. It only took her a minute or two to get our order made, and both creations tasted great- much better than ice cream. I highly recommend visiting this location and shop if you enjoy cold treats or if you happen to have a sweet tooth."

"Her menu has marked vegan options now. I've been here for years. order the roti brot, as it is vegan, not the naan. my advice is to skip the buffet, which is eat by other options during serving, it is very crowded, and eating is bland. order to eat to go or visit dinner service. they can say that they put a lot of attention and detail in their food. it is delicious and the staff is so beautiful, highly recommended."

"This is a quirky little place. Not a massive selection of beer on tap but have a lot of craft beer in coolers inside. The decor is kind of a hodge podge between signs, lights, and fabrics. They do have a lot of live music on the weekends and have a large stage area and outside seating. On Monday nights they have live bluegrass music which is something you don't find a lot in the Triad. My biggest issue is there's one particular bartender that is usually working that is not very personable, other than that a nice spot to stop in."

"Mae’s Vintage Kitchen in Kernersville, NC.The inn is lovely. I was extremely happy to find that they reopened after COVID-19 closure. Prior to the closure, my experience has been 4 Stars. My last visit, sadly, was mediocre at best. The driveway was partially blocked by two vehicles haphazardly parked—possibly because that side of the driveway has a large bump from a tree root in the pavement, but more likely by the ladies at the only table seated who failed to see the faded parking lines just to the left. With zero signage on where customers should actually park (not even on the open gate that leads to a large public parking lot, I won’t fault fellow guests. When my sister and I arrived, we were seated, at first, in the very cold sunroom from which our server gladly moved us to a new table. While the location was heated and more pleasant, it was directly up against a curtain behind which the kitchen staff was loudly speaking and clamoring. Another move at my request and choice provided much better seating. (There was only one other table for two seated at the time in the whole place. Our “High Tea” which I had to pre-order when I made the reservation was served on a wobbly, broken Christmas tiered server. Only one choice out of six decaf teas on the menu was available during our visit. (They ran out last week. My visit was on Friday of the next week. The scones were tasty but more like sweet biscuits and a bit dryer than “scones. The mini quiche were warm and quite nice but appeared store bought not hand made. Profiteroles were quaint and delicious. The cinnamon buns were tasty but a bit stodgy. They might have been perfect had they been served warm rather than cold. (I dunked mine in my chamomile tea. It was a huge improvement. Our fruit (three strawberry slices for two people[why? , eight grapes, six blueberries, two slices cantaloupe, and two pineapple slices were rather unripe. The cantaloupe and pineapple were not sour, however, like the rest.Sandwiches, while merely on crustless white bread served as triangle-half-sandwiches (as opposed to fancy petite cut squares, triangles, or fingers, were delicious. The cucumber sandwich filling, egg salad, and Turkey ‘n’ cheese were all pleasing. The chicken salad croissant was sensational. When another table was seated, they were less than three feet away—making that three seated tables in the entire place. Fortunately, we were almost finished at that time. Our server was very appeasing and quite congenial; however, they did nothing for my birthday—though she did remember to wish me a happy one before we left."
