Good location, great Michelin 1* restaurant. The property grounds were magnificent. The place slowly grew on you each day being there. We stayed at the junior suite, which was lovely. It's so hard to maintain a mansion with grounds like this. Appreciated all the efforts put in to make it special. Staff was friendly as you began to chat with them. This hotel is a shocking representation of the brand : it is very run down, understaffed and feels more like a family home that has run out of money and turned it into a makeshift hotel.
