"Located not too far from my work, I tried this place a few weeks ago as I was tired of the usual stuff around the area and wanted something new. Located in a strip mall (beside the Second Cup) this is a great place for dine in/take out. It's clean and there are enough tables to have a large family eat in. It's not fancy, but it's clean and not run down. I ordered the chicken Shawarma platter the chicken is grilled in front of you so you know it's fresh. The meat is so juicy and flavourful. It's definitely one of the better chicken shawarma's I've had in recent memory. The rice and potatoes (my choices) were cooked to perfection and were tasty. The portions are pretty decent and the prices are a bit high but the quality, taste and friendly service makes up for it."

"First impression was concerned about cleanliness. Lots of food particles under the glass table top. Enough to feed a few mice (which is what happens) The condiment bowls on the table were filthy. I asked for clean ones. Has the fried shrimp appy and pho. Food was ok but not as good as elsewhere for pho in Newmarket."

"The decor is eclectic but as the lighting is a bit subdued - but not dark - it is a peaceful and a calm environment. Food is freshly prepared and very delicious. The mango salad is the best I have ever eaten and the green curry is excellent. I wish they were closer to where I love so I could take out."

"Upon walking in, I was not sure if it was seat yourself or wait to be seated. Luckily the hostess came over as soon as she us and sat us down. I would recommend making a reservation because almost every table was full. I order the chicken meal and it came with potatoes, and vegetables, I also ordered the goulash soup. The meal was phenomenal and the portion size was huge which made for leftovers for lunch the following day (how lucky am I to enjoy my favorite meal twice)! We then had the apple strudel for dessert to split. It was equally delicious. The only downfall of the experience was when the waitress came over and complained about another table and having to split their bills', although I imagine annoying, please refrain from telling me opposed to say a co-worker."

"What an absolute nightmare of a time. Several of my girlfriends went for their 80/90's dance....it was a joke. From the moment we walked in and try to have someone greet us at the door. The usual bar tender Nicole wasn't working. someone horrible who we are pretty sure did not have her smart serve Melissa was the bar tender for the night. She messed up our drink orders right off the get go. (insert huge eye roll Then we wanted to ordered some food, while I was waiting my turn to place an order. The older man (Bob? comes out from the kitchen and says NO more F ing salads...seriously. I was standing there. Melissa never said a word. Not to him or anyone standing at the bar. We never did end up placing a food order as we were scared it would have been spat in or dropped on the floor. Whatever horrible experience. If it hadn't been for Steve (fantastic DJ we would have left and gone downtown Barrie to The Queens to dance. At least we would have had a better licenced serve and able to order food. If you go, think again. As I truly hope you don't have the same experience. Oh and it looks like now the restaurant is closed. Interesting, as I know the owner was now trying to sell it. But he took it off the market. Guess the constant complaints finally had to close down."
