"La Trattoria was an ok experience overall. No real issues with service at all, on par with what I expected. To start, we ordered the Insalata Paesana. The tomatoes on it were very pale (unripe), the looked mealy, flavorless, and had a crunch when I bit into a slice. I'd rather the tomato be left off; it wouldn't be served if I was the chef. The salad was tasty otherwise. I ordered the gorgonzola gnocchi for my entree. I don't proclaim to be a master chef, but I know good Italian food. This wasn't it. The gnocchi were potato based, which is normally ok. Unfortunately the dough was either over mixed or had too much water in it, making the gnocchi very gummy. The sauce had good flavor but was watery. The bread and dipping oil w/ balsamic and parm cheese was good. The manager came over at the end of our meal and asked how it was. I was honest with him about my experience. He apologized and very kindly removed my gnocchi from the bill. So thank you for that, it was appreciated! Overall, I'd suggest trying La Trattoria at your own risk. Would I go back? likely not."

"I have lived here for 22 years and never stepped in a miami subs, in the last two weeks I have in and had the caesar salat and it is the best thing I had in a long time, this place is pleasant and clean and coworkers are all top animals, this will be a weekly visit for me!"

"Elegant Sunday Brunch. Neighbors who have a condo in Key West recommended Louie's to us and I'm glad they did. The particulary recommended Sunday Brunch and we took their suggestion. We took to trolley to the Casa Marina Hotel and from there, it's a very short walk one block over to the restaurant. We got there shortly after the restaurant opened and were seated at a table for two on a short veranda overlooking the beach or rather what beach there is. Still it's a beautiful view of the water and very calm and relaxing. The dining room is decorated in period furniture from the early 20th Century which gives a nice warm touch. Service is great. Unobtrusive and at the same time, they are there are the appropriate times when you need them. Started out with Coffee and it was a full rich blend with lots of flavor. Looking over the menu, my wife chose the Rib Eye with Eggs and Potato Cake while I had the Shrimp Benedict. We split an order of Conch Fritters Appetizer between us. We though the Conch Fritters from the day before were good but these we even better and probaby the best we had in Key West. The Shrimp Benedict was excellent. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. One of the best features of the meal and the one often overlooked was the bread. It was fresh and yeasty and you could tell it was fresh baked and right out of the oven. It's been a long time since I've had bread this good. This restaurant will definately be on our return list next time we visit Key West and I would recommend it to anyone."
