"Lovely restaurant serving classic French cuisine in cosy countryside village decor. Ample choice on the menu, with many daily specials. "Amazing value for money, and excellent food and cheerful staff. Tray of chips and chicken nuggets £4.80. The kebab and chips equally good value. I would revisit this chippy in preference to any other nearby. The chips were sizeable, and full of real potato. I can give the chips 8 out of 10. If they were browner, they would have scored higher (I am a traditional chip lover as near to homemade as possible)"

"Good to have a choice of light bites or larger portions on the daily special menu. These looked to be a fair price. Also, a good choice of food on the regular menu. The food was tasty and well cooked. The girls who served us were really friendly. I will visit again. Price per person: £20–30"

"We went to a late lunch and loved it! the steak was nicely prepared, and the caramelized, roasted winter vegetables over to home made hummus was melted in mouth good! we enjoyed so much to stay over eating that we stayed for dinner! next time we will make the prix fix memory!"
