"Manufactory is really a nice little self-service restaurant with appealing dishes (although they also sell curry). We were just there once, but we think we're coming back because we would like to taste other dishes from their map. The staff is very friendly and the prices are moderate. So it was a simple decision to go there!"

"We had people for dinner , as a hotel guest we made no reservation. The whole restaurant was free, but a very young servant asked not only for reservation, but gave as a table we did not want. So after a little debate,,we got...what I want and the young man never showed up again. The female service at the table was friendly and helpful. Good wines and different beers where fine. We had seasonal food, fresh Spargel ! The Spargel was good, right al dente, the potatoes unfortunately with the skin, what we do not like, and as a sidestep Holsteinischer Schinken . It might be a speciality however it was to thick as a peace. Would have preferred thinner Koch -Schinken as served in other regions. But the chief was not able to deliver."

"Schon an der Tür würden wir mit Handschlag begrüßt und unsere Garderobe wurde entgegengenommen. Einen Tisch hatten wir reserviert, wäre aber in der Woche nicht notwendig gewesen. Die Speisekarte ist relativ Übersicht- zur Info: es gibt keine Pizza! Dafür ausgewählte Pasta, Fisch- und Fleischgerichte. Der Service war etwas schleppend aber freundlich. Auch das Essen brauchte seine Zeit- aber dafür war alles sehr lecker und wirklich frisch. Einen Abzug gibt es aber definitiv dafür, dass wir anschließend alle noch hungrig waren (wir waren 4 Mädels). Eine Vorspeise oder Dessert ist daher zu empfehlen. Für die Größe der Portionen war der Preis zu hoch."

"Last night (Saturday I was eating with a friend at Hoi An. We've been very happy for this evening as we are both great fans of Vietnamese cuisine. To the appetizer I had spring rolls with meat and vegetables filling, with Hoi An Dip (very recommended! At the main course I decided to have a typical Vietnamese noodle soup with rice ribbon noodles. A must for all soup lovers! The homemade broth tasted wonderfully spicy, everything matched tastefully super together. Unfortunately, for a dessert it was no longer enough, as the main course was very plentiful. All in all, it was a wonderful evening for us, the service very friendly and attentive! Thank you very much Hoi An Team :"

"Many vegan options! The food is really good, especially the vegan breakfasts, cakes and coffee! This is definitely one of my favourite cafés in Kiel. But unfortunately the place is often so crowded that you either don‘t get a seat or have to wait a long time until you can order or pay."

"I read alot of reviews for this place and had been here once before for lunch (great meal) price was okay. However, the breakfast this morning was 3/5 stars, portions were tiny and nothing special. If you get the mix platter and bonus it did...come with 3 drinks (2 cold servings in wine glass and 1 hot beverage) depends if you get the vegetarian or the biggest platter which including some deli meats came to around $11-14Euros. The service was very slow, my partner and I ordered two extra croissants it took over 10min so we cancelled it in the end."

"We stayed at the Kieler Kaufmann Hotel, so it was practical to dine at Ahlmanns.We were lucky to be here on a clear but windy summer evening and were offered a very nice table at the terrace with views to the Förde. Great detail: a table was also reserved for us inside, so we could move once it got too cold to stay on the terrace.We opted for a 3-course menu, main dish fish, to which several appetizers "greetings from the kitchen" are to be added.The chef offers delicious food, nicely presented, portions OK and price reasonable for this level of cooking.The service was not totally spotless, but errors were quickly solved by the owner.All in all, definitively a restaurant that deserves its Michelin star and to choose if in search for fine dining."
