"The restaurant was very noisy to the point of discomfort. The menu was interesting, the food very good and the service outstanding which makes me uncomfortable not to recommend it but the noise level overwhelmed the good features. The restaurant has hard surfaces that reflect the noise. The louder the customers were forced to speak, the worse the atmosphere became."

"Our food came so quickly that we didn’t have a chance to enjoy it. Our salad was still being consumed when they brought us the main dishes. A half hearted apology explaining that they had to get the party of 13 ready. Leaving us to believe that we weren’t valued. The menu was not what we expected based in What was presented in the website. Little did we know that we weren’t at the sportsman inn as advertised"

"My husband and I were in Killarney on May 8, 2022. We went to The Sportsmans Bar on the recommendation of an employee at The Killarney Brewing Company because we were looking for a place that might show the Miami Formula 1 race. We had the absolute best time of our two week trip there!!! We were greeted warmly when we walked in and had a seat at the back where the big screen was. The barman, who was spectacular, was happy to put the race on for us to watch though he was not a fan of F1. He also, throughout the night, brought our drinks to the table for us. At the end of the night he was sure to ask my husband if he was happy when we were leaving. They had a man playing the guitar and singing which was great. We also met the nicest local people. A large group was celebrating the birthdays of two of their family members and they sat at the tables next to us. The men who were seated next to my husband on one side and me on the other started to talk to us. They were the nicest people we met on the trip, which is a tall order because virtually everybody was friendly. We talked all night to them and barely even watched the race. One of the gentleman shows us the most clever trick with a piece of paper and some scissors and then showed us how to do it. We visited lots of bars and great places on our trip, but The Sportsmans Bar was the absolute best. Thank you for the wonderful memories!"

"We spent our afternoon by the fire at the carousel lounge having drinks with friends. It was cold and rainy out so this was the place to be. Friendly staff and great bartenders! We then went to the restaurant for a wonderful dinner with exceptional service."
