"Like many prairie diners, this restaurant tries to have too many items on the menu. The result is mediocre often pre-packaged food that is usually disappointing. Supposedly there is a chef but he/she is obviously not able to use his/her training. Keep the menu small, change it often and do things right would be my advice. The wings are quite good but other appetizers are less enjoyable - very mundane and not very tasty. It would be nice to have good steaks and fabulous salads and make it a place where you want to go to celebrate a special occasion."

"First time trying the potato bun sidekicks (ordered a crispy chicken and Italian aioli) and it did not disappoint! The buns were so fresh and it made me full too for two sidekicks! Definitely will come back again!"

"Minto, Manitoba is Avery small community on highway 10, midway between Brandon and Boissevain. There really isn't much here, small store, gas station, a this nice little restaurant. Recently taken over by a young women, Brandy, who is the chef. Simple menu, but fresh ingredients, served up by a chef who is passionate about cooking. Many specials, buffet Sunday dinner.
