"Awesome. My family and I enjoyed a great and unexpected lunch at Something Different in Urbanna, VA. We had the fresh seafood chowder, ribs, Kickin' Chicken, and a crab cake sandwich- all delicious! We sampled the tip top steak which was yummy too. I also noticed but didn't get to try the oyster sandwich which looked really good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I loved the two dogs that kept coming up to the door hoping for a snack. Defiantly worth the trip."

"We stayed on our boat at The Tides last night and had dinner at their restaurant. We can’t say enough about Pauline, the hostess, who went out of her way to seat us at a table with a perfect view of the water. Our waitress was Ruth, who also gave us excellent service. They both were very friendly and personable and went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. Thank you ladies!"

"My husband and I take the opportunity to dine at the Colonnade at The Hope and Glory Inn 2x a year. Whether a special occasion or just time for us to enjoy the special culinary experience Chef Meseret delivers we have after 10 years not been disappointed. Each course (usually 4) is personally crafted to each table by Chef. This experience is not mass production. When a good “cook” can deconstruct the elements as presented it says everything about the Chef’s talent at hand. Ingredients are personally chosen, farm/garden to table creates a perfectly executed meal. This evening in the midst of a tropical storm we enjoyed oysters ala Meseret, gazpacho with 8 different tomatoes and raspberry, a crab cake with no filler and accompanying sides and the finale dessert of homemade pannacotta with fresh berry coulis. Wine pairing is suggested it is spot on. Quiet intimate setting if you have dietary needs speak up. At the end of the evening Chef Meseret arrives at your table to converse about the meal, take questions and feedback. The experience here is more personal than most worth every penny."
