Valentine Day dinner with violin music background! Honey Bourbon Glazed Salmon and Snapper Pontchartrain were both delicious, but star was the Brussels Sprouts (veggie of the day)! Crème Brûlée was delicious also. View all feedback.
What Lucas Dartez doesn't like about Big Sky Steakhouse:
7pm reservation. Food on the table for 7:30.Bread butter were great.I ordered Chicken Marsala, and the wife ordered some chicken pasta. My Marsala was edible but tasted like it came out of a box, the mashed potatoes and gravy were possible from Wal-Mart. The chicken was thin and tough. The side of asparagus was delicious. The chicken pasta was good, no complaints but also didn't impress. We almost ordered steaks, I'm n... View all feedback.
Always our go to place to unwind from the work week... Staff is always extremely caring and attentive... We have been regular customers for quite a few years and have never been disappointed or had a meal that was not fabulous...and worth every dollar.. Special thanks to James and Carla for always taking care of us personally... We so appreciate you all.
Big Sky Steakhouse will be our GO TO place for dinner when we are at Coushatta. Walking off the noisy casino floor into a quiet, cool and beautiful restaurant was my first clue that this would be a positive experience. Drinks (a Painkiller and a strawberry lemon drop) were fabulous..appetizers (to die for crab cakes and lamb lollys) could double as entrees. The entrees menu was varied and all the tantalizing descriptions made choosing JUST ONE...a formidable task..Thank goodness their wait staff went above and beyond to assist us in our choices ...can't say enough nice things about them... And DESSERTS...so many beautiful desserts on the display tray..again...hard to choose but finally settled on the Cheesecake with Strawberries (but it also comes with caramel or chocolate if you so wish). Next time I will definitely try either the Chantilly Cake or the Blackberry Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce.... A scrumptious, satisfying dining experience that will not be forgotten but will definitely be repeated as soon as possible!
It is very dark so for those who like myself and my family that wear glasses and have trouble seeing in the dark it was not ideal. Other than that it was beautiful decor, we arrived a couple minutes after they opened. They brought bread and butter out however our server did not explain that there were 2 options of bread and what the 3 butters were. Thankfully none of us had nut allergies because she never asked and half the bread had nuts. We had to ask what the butters were as she did not explain. We absolutely loved the lobster bisque however the lobster was still cold in the center. The portions were a great size and food was delicious. My biggest issue is again that we had to ask the server about things such as bread, butter, and also the special we heard the table next to us order it and had to ask our server. Also the mushrooms on the sides menu are mediocre at best so skip those.
My evening at Big Sky Steak House was a delightful treat from start to finish. The red snapper blackened dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Bartender Jams not only crafted top-notch drinks but also engaged in lively conversation, elevating the dining experience to new heights. I'll definitely be returning for more unforgettable meals and engaging chats.
We dined at Big Sky Steakhouse during our stay at Coushatta Casino Resort. Our server, Sada, was extremely attentive. My husband had a request to change a sauce on the pasta and it was readily accommodated. The food was excellent!
