have been stopped in wildhorse cafe for some years, they serve delicous road eating. on Friday (11/18) on the way to slo stopped and ordered steak eggs.
the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. the personal is attentive and makes eating a personal experience. excellent customer service at every visit!
in the wildhorse cafe, have been awhile since we are last here. but always a shade. eating is so comfortable and quiet lil truck stop so food is comfort eating....

"Arrived on a Friday afternoon and went south to the weekend. What an excellent barbecue. Drinks were quickly served as well as fresh chips salsa. The staff was friendly as a professional. I'll be back south."

"I go to many bakery's here in California. Some bakeries offer great authentic Mexican bread while others are ok. La Plaza Bakery is a nice bakery that offers Mexican food and they have a good selection of plates, they offer fresh juices that they prepare on the spot. They also offer Mexican bread. The only thing is that this place is too over priced. I wouldn't mind paying more for good bread. The bread here is very bland. It's too dry from the inside, I believe that they don't to use enough butter..too dry. I don't even buy bread there anymore. When I do buy some when family comes to visit, most of it is not eaten. So I just buy Oreos instead. Their burritos look more like a taco and it costs almost seven dollars. Rip off....stop trying to save money by cutting your ingredients in half and going to small on the burritos. Your going to lose customers."

"UPDATE 8/29/17: Arrived again on 8/12/17 for our Camarones a la Diabla. 5 guys ordered it and all 5 pronounced it as the best they have eaten yet anywhere. Don't know what other reviewers are eating but make no mistake there is NOTHING bland about the Camarones and it IS authentic. Try it and let me know what you think. Or, don't and we'll have more for us, lol! We have been using this establishment for going on 15 years now. It is a lunch destination spot for our little motorcycle group, and we go for one thing and one thing only Camarones a la Diabla. It is consistently the best we've ever found they own the tortilla factory next store so those are fresh as can be as well. Sublime heat and flavor combo. Somebody said this place was flavorless? LOL! But don't listen to me, go taste for yourself. I'm headed there tomorrow and can't wait, maybe I'll see you there. PS: They appear to be open Sundays now but I also hear that they close one Sunday a month so take note."

"Restaurant Ambiente is fine, unfortunately the music is too loud and this function takes 1 star. Food is excellent, but the service was slow as only 2 servers work for a busy Sunday. Although the servers tried their best, they were friendly and accommodating. Family friendly. My family and I will definitely be back. We ordered the Mocajet and it was excellent!!! Try it. The tomatillo sauce is mild and well seasoned."
