What Simone Phillips likes about Iron Skillet:
Yes it’s just a truckstop. But we loved our dinner. Ashley was such a wonderful thoughtful server. Always a smile. And ACCURATE. Nowadays that’s a rarity. My hashbrowns were beautifully crispy just like I asked. Eggs perfect. The Parmesan chicken was good too. Couldn’t even finish all of it. But what got us most was their beautiful tribute with their Fallen Soldier table. read more.

What K M doesn't like about Iron Skillet:
Chili in bread bowl was bland and served lukewarm. I had to ask for silverware. I think the top part of bread could have been served with butter as well. Maybe a coleslaw or side salad would have been nice as well. The beans in the chili were a little hard. My husband said his fried chicken sandwich was ok. His fries were seasoned but soggy. I wouldn't go here again. read more.
