We have eaten Halibut and Shrimp at a number of Captain George's Restaurants. The Kingston location is high on our list. The Halibut is lightly battered and is always lovely and crispy. We also like to order the side of Shrimp. The Shrimp are a nice size and are always tasty. We will return to Captain George's when we visit Kingston again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Captain George's Fish & Chips:
I used to get the chicken Slovakia dinner it was good size actual chicken now it's just Janes chicken strips by the looks of it not at all impressed was a regular there now I won't be going back was absolutely terrible View all feedback.
Fish was moist and crispy, fries were delicious. Portions were huge and the service was amazing.
We've lived in Kingston for five years and heard great things about Captain Georges. We left last night. The fish and chips were top notch! Our server was beyond the top note!!! Samantha made us feel like we were her best friends when she first came to our table. Food quality is very important and Captain Georges gets a 5-star rating. Samantha is 10 stars. There are several good fish and chips restaurants in the Kingston area, but only Captain Georges has Samantha. That is why we will return. Thank you Captain Georges for a great dinner. Great service and delicious food. Fishbatter was beautiful and light. Coleslaw and Pommes were also great.
