"The staff are really nice and the cafe is so clean and the best till last the food is to die for freshly prepared and professionally prepared and cooked and the cakes you will lick the plate clean,the coffee is brilliant not weak but a really good roast so give em a try"

"Sorry Cafe Velo. I say sorry because we are regular customers. The last visit on a Saturday morning just before lunch we thought the Cafe Gloomy and quiet. The full English was ok but not exceptional. The service was ok but normally there's a nice vibe even if your not a cyclist. On a previous visit we commented on the table being sticky. We were informed it was the type of varnish on the table. on this occasion the tables are still sticky. not nice and needs addressing."

"Hard to find and a very small cafe on the train platform.Was busy but had to wait over an hour for breakfast and was very disappointed with the very small portion. It cost £11 each then drinks extra.. If anyone is thinking of going make sure you book.. Parking: Parking is on the train station so difficult to find a spot Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking"

"Absolutely shocking. We entered the pub after a long journey with full family 3 young children) and our dog. The staff a lady) didn’t look happy we had entered her establishment , but invited us to sit in the dog friendly food area and get settled. When we went to order drinks and ask for a menu, we was then told they could not serve us food due to a large order. I run a large business in the area and I would be not happy turning away people. We then headed to Hope and Anchor who couldn’t have been more welcoming not just with the children but with the dog too, food bowls and water provided on arrival. I won’t be returning to this place and will certainly be letting my circle of friends and family know"

"A group of us had a new meal there before. the service was good with friendly staff. some of us had the carvery, which was excellent with generous portions meat and a good selection of sweets available. it was good to have the possibility of a main menu, including tapas for those who do not want to carvery."

"Visited for the first time by reading the excellent reviews and I must say that we were blown away!! The food is amazing (the best meal we ever had). Garlic mushrooms, meatballs, pizza and garlic bread to die!! The team of employees are amazing, so friendly, professional and nothing too much trouble. Thank you. Osteria we will definitely be back!!"
