just back from another amazing vegan meal from this place. recommend the mushroom strogannoff, but promise to try one of the many other vegan option next time. literally 8 minutes drive from the highway and can't believe I've been twice! I can assure them that from now on this will be my regular. many thanks for their vegan menu, friendly staff and excellent price vino (I am not driving xxx View all feedback.

"I'd heard great things about this coffee shop so persuaded my friend to give it a try for our lunch. It was full and there were people waiting outside when we arrived. Rather than it putting us off and try elsewhere we thought if it's that good then we'll go back in an hour. So glad we did, we had a great welcome, a lovely big mug of coffee, the best toasties ever tasted with homemade coleslaw and salad, chips and a massive slice of homemade cake (had to bring it home, as full). The decor and friendly staff added to our very enjoyable visit and we will certainly visit again. Highly recommend and fully support independent businesses that care about you and their staff"

"We've been in Cafe Velo twice and both times have had a warm welcome and very nice food. This time I had the club sandwich which was huge and had egg in it, which I've not had before in a club sandwich but which was great. Helen had the toasted tuna cheese melt and Oscar had ham and cheese toastie. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and it's all put together well. The owner seems to talk to a lot of the customers and cares that people have had a good experience. Price is reasonable. Little more than a greasy spoon but well worth it."

"First visit to Chao Baan but certainly not the last. Not knowing much about Thai food, we had excellent advice from the friendly owner and staff and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal and a very reasonable bill."
