"Lovely food. Beef goulash and potato cake is beautiful and very filling. Comfort food. Polish decor and a great selection of drinks and gorgeous cocktails. Please can you do pierogi . Fabulous staff. Clean too. I shall return."

"Great little cafe in the centre of Hull. Warm welcome from staff, good CV19 measures in place. Accessible entrance and WC. We both ordered breakfast and its was hot and delicious. Great value included toast and a drink. Very popular and it's not surprising. Has good range of food."

"Hard to find and a very small cafe on the train platform.Was busy but had to wait over an hour for breakfast and was very disappointed with the very small portion. It cost £11 each then drinks extra.. If anyone is thinking of going make sure you book.. Parking: Parking is on the train station so difficult to find a spot Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking"

"First visit to Chao Baan but certainly not the last. Not knowing much about Thai food, we had excellent advice from the friendly owner and staff and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent meal and a very reasonable bill."

"We only had coffee, so I can't comment on the food but it was the worst coffee we've had for many years, very weak and couldn't even taste it. It's a shame because the atmosphere was nice and it's dog friendly."

"I ordered chicken strips and a vanilla milkshake The chicken strips were dry flavourless and tasted like they were made days ago. The batter was chewy rather than crispy. For £7.50 for 6 I was expecting something pretty special. The milkshake actually tasted pretty good but £4.50 for a pre made milkshake lined up in the fridge that was no bigger than 400ml is a massive rip-off I should have gone to McDonald’s Definitely won’t be going back"

"Popped into this bar after having an adventurous day visiting the local museums in Hull. Staff were lovely and made us the best Aperol Spritz of the day. Friendly and attentive, also the cocktail was wonderful will definitely be back."
