The personal here has really welcomed us and there were 25 of us and they did very best there to ensure that everything came to the same time. delicious eating the huh challenge was beautiful

Easy to find, large pub, rooms have comfortable beds and very reasonable. bathrooms are little tired, but clean and functional. we were there to visit a high time and would stay here again. great value for money.

It's a past since I visited the old grey mare, not just because of all restrictions etc. the place was very clean, very safe, and eating was great. you must not leave the gap between the visit how long the next time!

Our reserved table had been given to someone else. New table found and squeezed in, including wheelchair. Food was tasty and plentiful though if you have something delivered in a skillet it carries on cooking and so dried the meat out quick. Friendly wait staff. I would go back again, just choosing different foods.

I’m not really one to write reviews, I stayed here as I was visiting a friend in uni. The rooms where nice, a lot of people say they are outdated but I personally didn’t really see that as an issue, In my opinion as long as the room is clean and tidy it doesn’t really matter what it looks like. However, I struggled to figure out the shower which is my own fault but maybe some instructions in the room would be helpful? Also, the bathroom taps where really difficult to turn off and sometimes wouldn’t completely turn off. Apart from that, I am honestly so impressed with the waiters manners, I don’t live in Yorkshire and I’ve never received such good customer care, and I’m so impressed. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful and I have nothing bad to say about the food, price, or staff what so ever.
