"Absolutely shocking. We entered the pub after a long journey with full family 3 young children) and our dog. The staff a lady) didn’t look happy we had entered her establishment , but invited us to sit in the dog friendly food area and get settled. When we went to order drinks and ask for a menu, we was then told they could not serve us food due to a large order. I run a large business in the area and I would be not happy turning away people. We then headed to Hope and Anchor who couldn’t have been more welcoming not just with the children but with the dog too, food bowls and water provided on arrival. I won’t be returning to this place and will certainly be letting my circle of friends and family know"

"Hard to find and a very small cafe on the train platform.Was busy but had to wait over an hour for breakfast and was very disappointed with the very small portion. It cost £11 each then drinks extra.. If anyone is thinking of going make sure you book.. "I ordered chicken strips and a vanilla milkshake The chicken strips were dry flavourless and tasted like they were made days ago. The batter was chewy rather than crispy. For £7.50 for 6 I was expecting something pretty special. The milkshake actually tasted pretty good but £4.50 for a pre made milkshake lined up in the fridge that was no bigger than 400ml is a massive rip-off I should have gone to McDonald’s Definitely won’t be going back"
