Contribute FeedbackThe Kingston-upon-Thames McDonald's experience offers a stark contrast of highlights and lowlights. While the staff often work hard, service consistency falters, with orders frequently incomplete, leading to frustration among customers. Queuing chaos and inadequate spacing during busy periods detract from the experience, leaving many feeling let down. However, exceptional service experiences shine through, notably from staff like Kerstie and Chaitanya, who stand out for their friendliness and attentiveness. Despite varying food quality, the restaurant's atmosphere remains pleasant, culminating in a mixed review landscape that certainly warrants attention from both returning and new patrons.
I love that they are very late open, but that can sometimes be incredible for a fast food chain. make sure their delivery order is correct before they leave the counter. there are more than enough sitting area. the upper floor is empty in the rule. how many mcds the seasoned are served at the theke and they need to ask for them when they give them the food. very friendly staff.
My experience in this device could be quickly described with two words. my meal consumed brought memories back to the times when I lived in a simpler world, if I were to eat this kind of food would bring me joy. the mcplant was sufficiently moist.
Friday aftetnoon, 18th November, we visited this very busy branch of McDonald's in the centre of Kingston. It is located in Eden Street, and there are a number of bus stops nearby, we had to find our way through a hoard of people standing on the pavement waiting for busses. Once inside, it was rather busy with a lot of people queueing to order and collect their food, all a bit chaotic. Although we had pre-ordered our food and drinks, via the App, we still had to wait over ten minutes for our order to be called. Once we had collected the food, we were fortunate to find a table to sit at. A member of staff hurried across to us and wiped the table down so we could use it. We had ordered two double cheese burgers and two flat whites. When I opened the wrapper one of the patties was hanging out of the bun but had just been folded over in the wrapping. Both burgers were cold and the coffee, while tasty, was not very hot. So overall, from start to finish, it was not an enjoyable experience.
The absolute consistently bad delivery service. I buy McDonald's every weekend as a treat. Last week 2 x fries were missing, yesterday sauces were missing. This morning I decided to order breakfast, sausage and egg Mcmuffin and bacon and egg Mcmuffin.... Bacon and egg Mcmuffin missing!! There were literally 2 things on the order. I called last week to complain but there is absolutely no quality control. I'm not sure what kind of training is required other than check 2 things ordered are actually in the bag. I keep giving them a chance then get warnings from Uber for constantly asking for a refund.... It's not exactly my fault. Awful awful service
A fantastic experience was had, well beyond expectations. Not only the food was excellent as always and great value thanks to my voucher from the Metro newspaper. But what really made it an outstanding experience was the service provided by Kerstie who greeted me as I walked in to go to the counter to place my order. She took me during a clearly busy period approx 5.30pm on a Saturday to the touchscreen which didn’t read my voucher and which is a key reason I always prefer to do things face to face. Kerstie took my order verbally and came back with my food and change very swiftly. Proper good old fashioned restaurant service! Luvin it! And after I had enjoyed my delicious food she took back my rubbish. As a walking stick user I asked to use the toilet before going back home. She took me to the facilities and overall couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I’ll surely be back when I’m in Kingston the next time. Very highly recommended thanks to super service! Certainly exceeding expectations!
