The East Hotel is a really good place: convenient, underground parking, cool hip design, very nicely equipped rooms with kitchenettes, etc.

Ox Eatery is the hotel bar and restaurant at the East Hotel--my favourite place to stay in Canberra--but it isn't your typical hotel bar.

"Spice Affair is a must go to if you are a fan of Indian Cuisine. The food is simply superb plenty of spices and taste and cooked perfectly. I had the mutton curry and this did not disappoint it was medium but still plenty spicy enough and made me sweat, but not so spicy that it was not flavourful. My dining companions went vegetarian with a paneer curry that tasted like butter chicken this was also highly recommended! Breads were also done to perfection. Highly recommended and worth the trip if you are staying in Canberra CBD."

"Always amazing! So fresh and full of flavours! We had the chili jam squid and angel prawns. The flavours were so delicious! For a main we shared the duck curry, pork belly and the greens! Yes it's a little expensive but you can't complain when the quality is always outstanding!"
