"Went here with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day dinner. We were only given the option to order off of the $90pp set menu unless we had allergies to seafood, where they said they’d make an exception for the entree. However, after ordering, tables next to us were given the option to order off of the normal menu. On top of this, we were charged $13 for mineral water! Maybe this experience comes down to being naive, but I feel I was taken advantage of by the staff. Food was ok but not worth the price. Won’t be coming back."

"Have been in here twice, but found the smell of cooking flesh far too overpowering (far worse than any place I remember) both times to even consider ordering. Extraction fans would be a great idea if they wish to sell food to Vegans."

"With no reservation my wife and I arrived at hoping to get a table. We were lucky, but told to be out by Fried vegetable dumplings for entree were Even picky kids would eat these veggies. My wife had the steak. I...can’t remember what they called it, but it was yum. I had the pork in panko crumbs and it was also superb. Black sesame ice cream for desert was also very good."

"We have numerous thai restaurants near us where we can walk to but choose to travel 20 minutes to Thai Rose. We have had both dine in and take away and never been disappointed. The staff are lovely. We cannot go past the chili basil chicken and cashew beef dishes as have tried elsewhere and not a patch on Thai Rose. Kids love it too. Great ocean view as well."
